A Delectable Assignment:  MPG Signs On to Help Produce the Atlantic City Food & Wine Festival

 

Harrah’s Entertainment, owner of the renowned Bally’s, Caesar’s, Harrah’s and Showboat casinos and resorts, has tapped Moening Presentation Group to produce several events at its annual food and wine festival in Atlantic City, July 30 through August 2, 2009.

 

The Festival promises to be the premier event of Atlantic City’s summer season with four days of events, tastings and celebrity appearances. Chefs from the Food Network and Bravo will host, demonstrate, mix and mingle with guests at more than 20 events filling the schedule throughout the weekend. This culinary spectacular, benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, invites cooking and food enthusiasts to party with and learn from the likes of Emeril Lagasse, Guy Fieri, Duff Goldman and Ted Allen.  

 

"We’re especially excited about this event," said MPG President Scott Moening. "Not only do we get to work with the wonderful team from Harrah's, we get to showcase some of our favorite celebrity chefs and give guests an experience they won’t soon forget."

 

MPG will provide a broad range of services, from planning and coordination to décor, hospitality and on-site production for several of the festival’s key events, including a gourmet pizza bash with Tom Colicchio, a sports-themed barbeque, a star-studded beach soiree, and dinner and a movie with Ingrid Hoffmann.
