Scott has worked in every aspect of trade show production, serving as a presenter, crowd gatherer, sound engineer, writer, entertainer and producer at more than 400 trade shows in industries as diverse as high tech, banking, medical, dental, automotive and manufacturing.
Scott started in show business at the age of 10 as an amateur actor, singer and dancer. Throughout his late teens and early 20s he made his living as a juggler, unicyclist and comedian. But his real success came in 1988 when he made the transition to corporate theater. In 1995 Scott created his own company, Comedy Industries, producing more than 40 events in a single year during the tech boom of the late 1990s. He now is proud to be a member of the MPG team.
Scott’s success is based on the longevity he has enjoyed with his loyal client base. For example, he stayed with Digital Equipment Corporation through its purchase by Compaq and then by HP, producing more than 100 trade show and training events in a relationship that continues to this day.
Scott earned degrees in math and computer science from UC Berkeley, where he graduated with honors. |
